Desks and navigation

There is no segmented IT / HR / DEV switcher. When your account can reach more than one desk, use the icon buttons in the top bar: clipboard for IT, briefcase for HR, and code for Dev (developers only). Click the Lifecycle logo to return to your active desk home. The brand lockup shows IT, HR, or DEV for the surface you are on.

New Ticket (external Spiceworks or Settings link), Servers & service accounts (server icon, IT admins), Event history (clock), Instructions (book), People (roster), Inventory (package), Money (dollar), Settings (gear). The queue home is Open tickets with User / Device / Quality / Ship filters.

Help is always available from the desk footer (and from the marketing site header). It opens /help without leaving your instance hostname.

Onboard | Change | Offboard in the top bar, Event history, People (roster), Money, Settings. No Inventory, Instructions book, or Servers on HR. Settings stays available whenever you have an IT or HR role, including from Dev.

People (/roster) and Money (/finance) are shared across IT and HR. Each desk keeps its own home queue; switching those icons does not flip your active desk.

Lifecycle developers open Dev for hosts, uptime, desks on this pool, join tokens, cloud sync, and license heartbeats (trials, subscribers, pirates). The Dev icon, footer link, and marketing Dev link stay hidden for customer IT/HR staff. Direct visits to /dev redirect away unless you qualify. Leave Dev with the Lifecycle logo or the IT/HR desk icons.

lifecycle.lol (apex / www) is marketing and create-instance. Your instance host (for example contoso.lifecycle.lol) is the staff desk. portal.lifecycle.lol (or /portal on desk/LAN hosts) is the end-user portal for tokenized transfer and replace links - a short chrome, not the full desk.
