Instances and invites

On lifecycle.lol (or www), Name an instance, enter Instance name, and Start instance. Preview shows name.lifecycle.lol. Live desks on this host appear under Live on this host.

After Microsoft sign-in with a company email domain, /instances lists Your instances for that domain. Open an instance you belong to, Request invite for one you do not, or Create another instance.

The first desk for a domain uses a slug from the domain (for example contoso). Additional desks are contoso-2, contoso-3, and so on - each is a full sibling desk for teams that need isolation while sharing the company domain.

Request invite emails instance admins when Notifications are linked; otherwise admins see Instance invitations on the desk with Accept or Decline. Only IT admins act on pending invites.

After Accept, the requester can Open that instance from /instances. Decline closes the request without granting membership.

Create another instance when a business unit needs its own queue and settings without a separate Microsoft tenant. Prefer Request invite when you should join an existing desk instead of proliferating empty instances.

Personal Microsoft accounts are not eligible for company instance lists - use a company domain mailbox.
